............. and finally the dying embers of 2024 - the Christmas Lunch held at the Isle of Wight College on the 6th December.

This event, which was  fully subscribed, proved to be as convivial as usual.  The College pulled out the stops for us by providing the traditional food offerings together with some more unusual choices.  We did, of course, hold our customary raffle and the ever popular Quiz.   This year's questions were both of a horticultural and general knowledge variety.  One or two of them stumped even our well-informed members.  However, a winning table was announced and small prizes were presented to those sitting at that table.
